Gloomwood - About

GLOOMWOOD is a survival horror stealth immersive sim taking place in the filthy streets of victorian-era England. Kidnapped and brought to a decaying city in the midst of being consumed by an ancient curse, The Doctor must escape this wretched town he finds himself trapped in.

Inspired by the likes of horror and immersive sim classics like:

• The atmosphere of the Thief trilogy
• The versatality of System Shock 2
• The resource management of Resident Evil

Gloomwood takes bits and pieces from all of these and delivers a unique, memorable, and immersive experience. There is more to this city than you can possibly imagine...

No UI was disabled for those screenshots. The game doesn't have any by default (besides the crosshair and an optional 'action log'. Gloomwood just looks like that.

Sneak around in abandoned factories, windy cliffsides, posh manors, and sewer systems that go down for miles. This rotten city's inhabitants will be at every turn, Doctor - and they don't like outsiders. Stay vigilant if you want to survive. Alternatively, you can get loud with powerful shotguns and grenades - but make sure you have enough ammo to share with the class. There will be consequences if you don't...
